The Chalet chicken tractor is our version of the "A" frame tractor.  This beautiful tractor coop is made from local North Carolina Cypress (also available in pine) and hand rubbed exterior oil.  The 2 upper doors on each end flip down to allow for easy retrieval of the fresh eggs.  The 2 lower doors on the end of the coop flip down allowing your hens to room free when you want them to.  All 4 sides of the coop remove completely to allow for easy cleaning.  The inside floors are removable making it very easy to deposit the chicken droppings right into your compost and are protected with food safe wood oil.  With a pull of a braided steel wire you can open and close the ramp to the upper hen house making it easy to relocate the coop to new foraging areas.  We have also built in 2 windows at each end of the coop and a ridge cap to the top of the roof to achieve proper ventilation.  Screening of all our coops comes standard with 20-gauge hexigrid metal.  This PVC black hexigrid coating adds to its life and reduces its visibility.  This tractor coop will add simple and natural beauty to any backyard setting and a safe environment for your hens.
